Our Orthodox Church Sunday School program.
Thank you for your interest in our Sunday School Program.
Please refer to Metropolitan Gregory of Nyssa Archpastoral Letter Protocol No. 33/2020 expressing concerns about the importance of religious education especially in this time of the Coronavirus pandemic.
Our goal is to provide a quality Christian education for school aged children. Our curriculum is centered on the traditional Orthodox Christian teachings utilizing classroom, Church and extra circular events and activities. The school year runs from mid-September to early June and is free of charge. We only ask that you register your child with the Church and that you commit to weekly attendance. Classes are held on Sunday mornings from 11am -11:45. Registration is now open. You may register in person Saturday evenings 6:15pm -7:15pm or Sunday mornings 9am-11am or you may register via email from this website. Please provide your name, telephone number, child’s age and primary spoken language.
During the Covid Pandemic class schedules and class size may vary. Our Sunday school program exceeds the recommendations and guidelines set out by our Diocese, the State of New Jersey and the CDC. Currently class size is limited and classrooms are in open, well ventilated, indoor space. Students and Teachers are required to wear a face covering and all hard surfaces are sanitized after each use. Students will be provided an individual, prepackaged breakfast at the start of each session.
